Our lives are not our own

Vårt liv är inte vårt Orest Lastow

Three people learn to manipulate time and space. They will all be challenged to use their skills to prevent a global catastrophe. When Ulla, a student in Lund, Sweden, goes through the belongings of her late grandfather, brutally murdered, she discovers notes that completely change how she sees him. Surprisingly, a seemingly anonymous taxi driver from Iran turns out to have done advanced physics research earlier in life. Ulla, herself having started her career in physics, learns his technique to manipulate time and space with the right touch.

Meanwhile, three adventurers discover a giant floating digital clock in Antarctica surrounded by an impenetrable force field. Another scientist, Angus, discovers a phenomenon involving a signal at 1.0 PetaHertz that can penetrate all matter.

Ulla and Angus realise that together they must figure out how everything is connected. But they need to hurry. While they try to sole their puzzle, a substantial physical experiment is underway that could cause a global catastrophe.

This is the first book in the exciting petahertz trilogy, a science fiction odyssey spanning almost a hundred years at alternative time lines.
