Orest Lastow

Orest Lastow was born in 1964 in former Czechoslovakia. He arrived in Sweden in 1969 and grew up in Rosengård, Malmö. Orest holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from LTH and a PhD in Aerosol Physics from London.

Since 1995, Orest has worked in inhaled pharmaceuticals, first at Astra Zeneca and then at Iconovo, which he co-founded and previously served as CEO. Orest is the inventor of all Iconovo products and holds over 40 patents. Today, he divides his time between being a research director, a speaker at scientific conferences, and an author.

Orest has previously written non-fiction books, and the Petahertz trilogy marks his debut as a novelist. He currently resides in Torna Hällestad, located outside Lund, Sweden.
